How to Series : Applying your eyeliner.

Hello my lovelies! Hope you've all been good? Elections are next week..who will be voting and who is not? Personally I can't wait for it to be over..I'm really tired of the campaign induced traffic around Lagos!

So I've decided to start my How to series with eyeliners. I get a lot of people asking me how they can apply eyeliners. Hopefully this write up..with constant practice of course will make you a pro soonest.

There are mainly three types of eyeliners.

1. Liquid Eyeliner.

This usually comes with a pointed applicator brush. It can be a bit tricky to use but with constant practice usually gives a good finish.

2. Gel eyeliner:

This is very easy to use as it glides on easily. It is usually applied with a small angled brush to get the desired effect.

3. Pencil eyeliner:

This is perhaps the easiest form of eyeliner. All you need is a pointed tip pencil.

How to apply

Below are the steps you can use to apply eyeliner

Step 1:  Gently pull back the skin of the eye you want to work on with your left hand.

Step 2:  Place the elbow that’s holding the liner on your chest or on a table in front of you.

Step 3: Carefully draw the line. You can make small dashes instead of a straight line…just connect them when  you’re done.  Start from the middle and then extend forward.  Be sure to move your head instead of the liner as this will ensure a straight line.

Make the line as thin as possible. If you want a thicker line you can build up on it.

If you make any mistakes don’t fret! Make sure you have a Q tip and makeup remover on hand to clean up the mess…and then try and try again! You can use any of the product you're comfortable with until you've mastered it.

Voila! You”re done!  Make sure you all try it and tell me how it went. Be sure to do it in front of a mirror.

Here i used the zaron gel liner which I absolutely love!

If you have any questions or comments please feel free to let me know..or if you have anything you want me to show you how..just comment here.
